The European Union’s foreign ministers may approve the next, 21st package of sanctions against Russia on July 13.
“Elchi” reports that French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot announced this during his visit to Poland.
“The 21st sanctions package, which is due to be adopted next Monday, will strike at Russia’s financial sector and further reduce revenues from energy,” the minister said.
On June 9, the European Commission presented a draft of the 21st sanctions package, which will primarily be directed against Russia’s energy exports and banking system.
