Two documents have been signed between Azerbaijan and Jordan regarding the simplification of the visa regime and cooperation in the energy sector.
“Elchi” reports that information about this was shared on the “X” account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
It was stated that the documents were signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Safadi.
Thus, the parties signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports, and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on cooperation in the energy sector.
It was noted that these documents will contribute to the facilitation of people-to-people contacts and the expansion of cooperation in tourism, business, economy, energy, and humanitarian fields.
