Türkiye and the United Kingdom have signed a security and defense partnership agreement.
“Elchi” reports, citing “TRT Haber”, that the document was signed during a meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on the sidelines of the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government held in Ankara.
It was stated that the agreement will enable Türkiye and the United Kingdom to strengthen their cooperation by deepening consultations through new mechanisms in the political-military aspects of security and defense policies, including deterrence and defense, military cooperation, defense industry and technology, cybersecurity and hybrid threats, counter-terrorism, resilience and civil preparedness, as well as the space domain.
