In January–June of this year, the total turnover of the “Baku Stock Exchange” (BSE) amounted to 23.8 billion manats.
elchi reports, citing the BSE, that this figure has decreased by 34.9% compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the number of transactions concluded on the BSE was 35,442. The total volume of transactions concluded for government securities was 708.4 million manats, the volume of transactions for Central Bank (CBAR) notes was 809.3 million manats, the volume of corporate securities was 309.7 million manats, and the volume of mortgage bonds was 407.5 million manats.
The largest turnover on the exchange fell to repo operations. Thus, in the first half of the year, the total volume of transactions concluded for these instruments amounted to 21.6 billion manats.
