A meeting was held in Cairo between representatives of the Egyptian and Turkish intelligence services and the leadership of the HAMAS movement, where the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip was discussed.
“Elchi” reports, citing “Al-Ahram”, that the meeting was attended by the head of Egypt’s General Intelligence Service, Major General Hassan Rashad, the head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization, Ibrahim Kalin, and high-ranking representatives of HAMAS.
According to the source, the talks were positive, and the parties expressed cautious optimism regarding the implementation of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan. HAMAS representatives confirmed their support for the plan and their readiness to overcome obstacles to its implementation.
