Iran considers the statements of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte as the alliance’s support for US attacks on the Islamic Republic.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei, at a press conference.
“Iranians are not only fighting against the US and Israel, but new aspects of other countries’ participation in the attacks are also becoming clear,” he added.
At the press conference, I. Baghaei also recalled that access to Iran’s damaged nuclear facilities has been blocked for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) staff:
“The agency has shown negligence in this matter, and we recommend Grossi (Rafael Grossi, IAEA Director General – ed.) to perform his duties more responsibly instead of engaging in pre-election campaigning.”
It should be recalled that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte considers the weakening of Tehran’s nuclear and missile programs essential for the security of Europe and the Middle East. He also fully supported the US operations in Iran.
Grossi stated that the IAEA plans to resume inspections at Iran’s nuclear facilities in the near future within the framework of agreements reached between Washington and Tehran.
