Expanding relations with Iraq will always be a priority for Iran.
“Elchi” reports that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei wrote this on his “X” social media account.
“We arrived in Baghdad accompanied by the Foreign Minister, and after paying tribute to the victory leaders, we will hold meetings with our Iraqi brothers, including the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the Foreign Minister,” he stated.
It should be noted that the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Iraq, Abbas Araghchi and Fuad Hussein, have met. The topics of discussion have not yet been disclosed.
