In 2025, a total of 65,565 electronic applications were received for the teacher recruitment competition in Azerbaijan.
elchi reports that this is stated in the annual report of the Ministry of Science and Education.
It was reported that 3,416 candidates succeeded in the competition and were employed. This year, the vacancy fill rate for core subjects as a result of the teacher recruitment exam (MİQ) was over 90 percent. Nearly 10,000 teachers were hired during the academic year.
It was emphasized that nearly 84,000 educators have been involved in the certification process held so far. Based on the results of the certification, salary supplements have been applied for a total of more than 73,000 educators.
It was noted that 2,022 people succeeded in the teacher transfer competition and changed their workplaces. In the process of mutual transfer of teachers, 150 people changed their workplaces.
