Iran and Pakistan can establish a regional security framework

Sustainable peace, stability, and development in the region can only be ensured through open dialogue and cooperation based on mutual respect.

elchi reports that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated this during a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

“Iran is ready to extend a hand of friendship to Pakistan to establish a new regional security framework,” he said.

Pezeshkian also highly appreciated the role of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt in supporting the peace process.

In his speech, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz praised Pezeshkian’s visionary leadership and welcomed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, expressing hope that it would mark the beginning of a new era of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region:

“This agreement will pave the way for a new era of peace, stability, and prosperity for the entire region.”
