US President Donald Trump said regarding his country’s relations with Israel, “If it weren’t for Donald Trump, Israel would have been destroyed.”
“Elchi” reports that in an interview with the US-based news portal “Axios”, President Trump evaluated his relations with Israel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Stating that if asked, Netanyahu would say they have everything, including bombs and weapons, Trump said, “If it weren’t for Donald Trump, Israel would have been destroyed.” Trump also said regarding his relationship with Netanyahu: “Our relationship is good, but we have to keep them at a more acceptable level.”
When asked if he could have prevented Israel’s attack on Lebanon, Trump said, “Yes, I would. They respect me a lot and they do what I say.”
