Transfermarkt has announced the updated market values of football players following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
“Elchi” reports that Barcelona’s young star Lamine Yamal and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland lead the list of the world’s most expensive football players, each with a market value of 200 million euros.
Despite having the same market value, Yamal holds the top spot due to being younger.
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé lost 20 million euros in value in the latest update, dropping to 180 million euros and placing third.
Bayern Munich player Michael Olise and Barcelona midfielder Pedri round out the top five. Both players are valued at 150 million euros.
French champions PSG maintain their status as the team with the most expensive squad in the world. Paris representatives Joao Neves, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Vitinha also feature in the top ten.
In the English Premier League, the second most expensive player is Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice, with a market value of 120 million euros.
The most notable name representing the Turkish Super Lig on the list is Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian forward’s market value is listed at 75 million euros. Among members of the Turkish national team, the highest figure belongs to Arda Güler. The Real Madrid player’s market value stands at 90 million euros. The young midfielder scored 6 goals and provided 14 assists in 51 matches last season.
Juventus player Kenan Yıldız also appears on the list with a market value of 75 million euros.
It should be noted that 13 football players with a market value of 100 million euros or more are included in Transfermarkt’s latest ranking.
