Zonal championship of “Young Rescuer and Firefighter” competitions held – PHOTO

The zonal championship of the XIII National “Young Rescuer and Firefighter” competitions was held by the North Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry, the main purpose of the championship, organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, is to test the physical and intellectual level of students regarding preparedness for emergency situations, to increase the sense of responsible approach to individual and public safety among schoolchildren, and to instill a healthy lifestyle in the younger generation.

Speakers at the event, which began with the playing of the National Anthem, spoke about the importance of the competition and wished the participants success.

The competition involved educational institutions from the cities and districts covered by the North Regional Center.

The competition consisted of three stages: “Team Presentation”, “Combined Fire Relay”, and “Obstacle Course”.

Based on the results of the intense competition, the team of the Yukhari Zeykhur village secondary school of Gusar district took 1st place, the team of the Zardabi settlement secondary school of Guba district took 2nd place, and the team of the Niyazoba village secondary school of Khachmaz district took 3rd place.

It should be noted that the winning team has earned the right to participate in the national championship of the “Young Rescuer and Firefighter” competitions.
