Azerbaijan has reached an agreement with Russia and Iran on the implementation of the “e-Permit” system.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by Subhan Abilov, Director of the Freight Transport Department of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), at the 2nd Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Forum.
S. Abilov noted that the most important issue in this area is the foreign permit forms used by all countries in international freight transport: “Hundreds of thousands of exchanged documents are issued to carriers and drivers for the implementation of international freight transport.”
It should be noted that “e-Permit” (Electronic Permit) is an electronic system that ensures the digital exchange and issuance of “Permit” (transit) forms used between countries in international road freight transport.
