Strengthening Canada–Azerbaijan relations and expanding cooperation in trade and investment sectors have been discussed.
elchi reports that the discussions were held between Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand and her Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, and A. Anand shared information about this on her “X” social media account.
“This morning, I spoke with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister J. Bayramov about strengthening Canada–Azerbaijan relations and expanding cooperation in trade and investment,” she wrote.
The Canadian Foreign Minister stated that developments in the South Caucasus and the importance of a durable and long-term peace, including the settlement of unresolved issues, were also discussed.
