India has sent dozens of tons of medical aid to Afghanistan

India has sent 20 tons of critical materials to Afghanistan to support the children’s immunization program, including BCG (anti-tuberculosis), as well as tetanus and diphtheria vaccines.

elchi reports that the official representative of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal, announced this on the “X” social network.

The cargo has been delivered to Kabul and is intended to strengthen the national vaccination program in the country. It is noted that the supply of additional medical materials is also already on the way.

The Indian foreign policy department stated that New Delhi will continue to provide support in the field of healthcare and humanitarian aid to the “friendly people of Afghanistan”.
