Khankendi, Khojaly, and Aghdara have been remembered for 30 years with pain and genocides.
“Elchi” reports that Elchin Yusubov, the Special Representative of the President in the city of Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts, stated this at the event titled “Post-conflict urban planning: Restoring destroyed identity and rebuilding an integrated future” held at the Azerbaijan pavilion within the framework of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
The Special Representative noted that consistent and purposeful construction work is being carried out in Khankendi, Khojaly, and Aghdara today.
Elchin Yusubov also announced the number of families returning to Khankendi, Khojaly, and Aghdara. Thus, 71 families (302 people) have returned to Khankendi, 857 families (3341 people) to Aghdara, and 1083 families (4510 people) to Khojaly.
