On May 2, the “TurAz Qartalı-2026” joint tactical-flight exercise, held in our country with the participation of the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey, has concluded.

It was stated that a briefing was presented to the participants on the occasion of the conclusion of the exercise.
“During the exercise, military pilots from both brotherly countries carried out joint flights and performed the assigned tasks with professionalism.
In accordance with the scenario, the planning of relevant flights, the detection of Air Defense (AD) assets and other targets, the transmission of data to the Combined Air Operations Center and their destruction, as well as other activities were successfully executed.
Additionally, tasks such as improving the flight skills of the personnel in different conditions, performing exchange flights to familiarize with new equipment and weapon systems, and evaluating the activities of AD assets under electronic warfare conditions applied by aviation assets were also carried out.
The performance of the military pilots was highly appreciated by the exercise directors, and the participants were wished success in their future service.
Finally, mutual gifts were presented,” the statement noted.
