MES conducts mass awareness campaigns regarding WUF13 – PHOTO

As part of the preparations for the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum to be held in Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) is organizing awareness campaigns on fire safety in crowded places across the capital, including hotels.

According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry, extensive information is being provided on ways to prevent fires and the necessary behavioral rules in the event of a fire, and the importance of correctly using evacuation plans is explained. Furthermore, the necessity of keeping areas clean, maintaining fire-fighting water supply systems in working order, ensuring constant free access to emergency exit routes, and equipping facilities with primary fire-extinguishing equipment is emphasized.

During the events, the rules for using primary fire-extinguishing equipment are demonstrated, educational brochures and informative printed materials for placement in hotel rooms are distributed, and questions are answered.
