A media tour has been organized to the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Center under the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry, media representatives became closely acquainted with the conditions created at the center for children with disabilities, the modern rehabilitation methods applied, and the organization of the service process.
The 25-bed center has been equipped with conditions meeting modern requirements, and services are provided to children with disabilities in both outpatient and inpatient forms, based on effective physiotherapeutic methods and using modern equipment.
During the first quarter of the current year, the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Center provided rehabilitation services to 2,400 children with disabilities. In total, 6,900 children have benefited from the Center’s rehabilitation services during 2025-2026.
In addition to the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Center, children in this category are provided with rehabilitation services at the Agency’s Children’s Rehabilitation Centers No. 1 and No. 2 located in the capital, as well as at the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in the Shamkir district.
During the months of January-March of the current year, 10,000 children were involved in rehabilitation services by the Agency’s children’s rehabilitation centers.
Rehabilitation services aim to support the integration of children with disabilities into society through socio-psychological and medical rehabilitation.
