The reconstruction of the “Hazi Aslanov” station will be carried out during the construction period of the “Y-17” station, which will serve as a transfer point to the “Hazi Aslanov” station, in accordance with the State Program covering the years 2025–2030.
“Elchi” reports that Baku Metro CJSC has released information regarding this matter.
It was stated that major repair and reconstruction works are ongoing in the station’s dead-end tunnel:
“Over many years, due to complex hydrogeological conditions and the impact of groundwater, erosion had occurred in this area.
As part of the repair works, the insulation layers in the dead-end tunnel are being renewed and reinforced, the structures are being completely rebuilt, and the infrastructure is being made more resilient.
It should be noted that the construction of the dead-end tunnel is planned to be completed by September 2026.”
