An international project through the eyes of the jury chairman

From April 5 to 12, 2026, a large-scale international cultural project combining several important events was held in the city of Alanya.
“CASPI ART SANAT” International Art Competition, “MUSIC AXIS” International Educational, Methodological and Creative Works Competition, as well as the “CASPI ART FEST” International Art Festival.
Participating in this project as the chairman of the jury was not only a great professional responsibility for me, but also a valuable experience in terms of a vibrant international creative dialogue.

The festival program was distinguished by its multi-genre and integrative nature. In particular, the creation of international instrumental ensembles and an international choir, which brought together participants from various countries, made a special impression. The concert performances of these groups, formed under the guidance of the jury, were one of the brightest moments of the program, demonstrating successful cooperation between different musical schools and traditions.

In the solo concerts, which constituted an important part of the program, the individual creative characteristics, artistic thoughts, and professional levels of the performers were clearly reflected.

The participation of representatives from 7 countries in the competition and festival programs gave the event a true international status. The opening and closing gala concerts were memorable for the performances of both the participants and the jury members, forming an atmosphere of creative unity and mutual respect on stage.

The educational part of the project should also be specifically mentioned. Presentations of collective publications, master classes, and creative meetings played an important role as a platform for the exchange of professional experience, discussion of modern music education and performance issues, as well as the strengthening of international relations.

The jury included renowned art figures from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, and Kazakhstan, which created conditions for an objective and comprehensive evaluation of the performances.

As the chairman of the jury, I would like to emphasize the high level of preparation of the participants. The competitions involved both young performers representing various age categories — students of music schools and colleges, conservatory students, as well as experienced professionals — teachers, associate professors, professors, philharmonic soloists, and honored artists. This is of great importance for the formation of intergenerational professional succession.

I see the main value of the project in its unifying mission. Such events not only serve to raise the level of performance but also strengthen cultural mutual understanding, expand international relations, and create new opportunities for cooperation.

I express my deep gratitude to the project organizer, “Caspi Art Sanat ve Sanatsal Eğitim Hizmetleri Tic. Ltd. Şti.” (Turkey), as well as to the author and artistic director of the project, İlqar Eyyubova, for the high-level organization and their contribution to the development of art.

I am sure that this project will continue to develop in the future and become one of the important traditions of the international cultural space.
