President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree on additional measures to ensure the activities of the Alat Free Economic Zone.
elchi reports that, in accordance with the Decree and based on Part 3 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 1032 dated May 22, 2020, “On the establishment and organization of the activities of the Alat Free Economic Zone,” a 1453.09-hectare portion of state-owned land located in the administrative territory of Alat settlement, Garadagh district, Baku, which was designated as part of the Alat Free Economic Zone, has been transferred to the authorized body of the Alat Free Economic Zone for permanent, free-of-charge use. This area is indicated in the land management plan prepared by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is attached to this Decree.
The Ministry of Economy and the authorized body of the Alat Free Economic Zone have been instructed to resolve issues arising from this Decree.
