“Elchi” reports, citing foreign media, that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated this during a phone conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Araqchi thanked Beijing for its urgent humanitarian aid. He noted that Tehran wants a comprehensive ceasefire, not a temporary one.
Wang Yi, in turn, stated that Beijing opposes the violation of other states’ sovereignty and calls on the parties to use every opportunity to start a peace process.
