US President Donald Trump has said that part of the American air defense system, called the ‘Golden Dome’, will be located in Greenland.
Elchi.az reports that Trump made the statement in an interview with Fox Business.
‘The Golden Dome will be in Greenland. Part of it. This is very important because everything flies over Greenland. If malicious parties release something, it will pass over Greenland and we will shoot it down there,’ he said.
The American leader also stressed that the US is negotiating to gain full and indefinite access to Greenland. According to him, Washington ‘will get what it wants without any cost.’
‘There are no restrictions, no time limits either,’ Trump added.
