A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has been recorded near the coast of Kamchatka. According to preliminary reports, the earthquake was felt with a magnitude of 4 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Elchi.az reports that the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences has released information about this.
“Magnitude: 6.4. Intensity in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (preliminary assessment): 4,” the statement said.
