Vance Accuses European Countries of Parasitism

European countries have benefited from US medical research for decades, while American citizens have paid more for medicines.

elchi reports that US Vice President J.D. Vance, during a speech in North Carolina, accused EU countries of parasitism.

According to the official, the existing pricing system in the global pharmaceutical market has put US citizens at a disadvantage for many years.

“For a long time, our grandmothers, parents, and we ourselves have paid excessively high prices for medicines, while European countries have gained free access to innovations created in the US,” Vance noted.

Previously, J.D. Vance made a statement against Ukraine’s membership in the North Atlantic Alliance. Before that, “The Financial Times” (FT) wrote that European leaders want to offer Russian President Vladimir Putin the condition of Kyiv’s NATO membership as one of the options to end the conflict.
