President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President Petr Pavel of the Czech Republic.

On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my most sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and your entire nation on the occasion of the national holiday of the Czech Republic.
We are pleased that Azerbaijan-Czech relations, which have a rich tradition, are developing dynamically today. An active political dialogue creates a good foundation for the expansion of our cooperation in the economic, energy, transport, defense industry, humanitarian, and other fields.
I believe that by utilizing the existing opportunities, we will achieve further deepening of interstate relations and effective cooperation between our states, which have great potential, through our joint efforts.
On this significant day, I wish you robust health, happiness, and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly people of the Czech Republic.”
