“The World Intercultural Dialogue Forum has become one of the most effective platforms.”
According to elchi, this was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the opening of the VII World Intercultural Dialogue Forum.
“We have more than 2,000 registered participants, including more than 500 foreign guests from over 100 countries at the VII World Intercultural Dialogue Forum. These figures actually show that the World Intercultural Dialogue Forum has become one of the most effective and comprehensive platforms for intercultural relations and for solving issues that are not limited to this. Because at the forums, we traditionally discuss current issues on the global agenda. I well remember the first forum organized on our initiative in 2011. We are very grateful to our partners, primarily the UN Alliance of Civilizations, for supporting this initiative and for showing us support over all these years. Much has changed since then. Of course, at every forum held every two years, we discuss issues that concern us all,” the head of state noted.
