Sahib Jalil oglu Rzayev has been appointed Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Penitentiary Service.
“Elchi” reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree in this regard.
It should be noted that Sahib Jalil oglu Rzayev was born in 1977. He graduated from Baku State University with a degree in law.
Until 2006, he served as an investigator in the internal affairs bodies, from 2006 to 2008 as a senior investigator in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and from 2008 to 2023, he held positions as Head of the Investigation Department of the Operational-Investigative Department, Head of the Operational-Investigative Department, and Head of the Main Department for Prevention of Emergencies and Internal Security in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. From January to July 2025, he served as Deputy Head of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Justice.
From July 2025 until his last appointment, he worked as the Head of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Justice.
