U.S. President Donald Trump has once again linked the riots in France to mass migration.
elchi reports that he stated that security concerns arise because people are not properly screened before entering the country.
“It’s a migration thing. People are pouring into France and they haven’t been vetted or they haven’t been vetted properly like Biden has them. We don’t do that,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
French authorities do not link the riots to migrants. However, the American president continued to claim that the U.S. could face a similar scenario if the Democratic Party takes control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections.
Trump has repeatedly criticized the migration policies of European countries and warned that Europe would face a serious crisis without stricter border controls.
