The Ministry of Emergency Situations held joint training at the Security Regiment of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
According to the Ministry’s Press Service, which provided information to elchi, relevant personnel and equipment from the State Fire Protection and State Fire Control services of the MFA, and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice were involved in the training.
The purpose of the training was to instill in the employees of the Penitentiary Service the rules of conduct in emergencies, including fires, in such facilities, to further improve the activities of fire protection units, and to enhance the professional skills of rescue personnel.
In the theoretical part of the event, MFA employees provided detailed information on the necessary rules of conduct and evacuation measures during emergencies, including fires. Also, the participants of the training were visually demonstrated the rules for using initial fire extinguishing equipment, and questions were answered.
In the practical part of the training, after the “Alarm” signal was given due to a conditional fire on the enterprise’s territory, the enterprise employees “made an initial intervention to the fire,” and the fire protection units promptly arrived at the scene and carried out the operations of “evacuating the victims from the dangerous area,” “conducting rapid reconnaissance at the fire site,” and “extinguishing the fire.”
After the successfully conducted training, the results obtained were discussed, relevant instructions were given, and educational materials were presented to the employees responsible for fire safety of the enterprise.
