The recent visit of representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to the liberated lands has caused hysteria among revanchist forces in Armenia and the Armenian society in general, which still cannot reconcile with the realities. The fact that this visit, which is the 22nd in number, has caused so much alarm and repercussions among Armenians is due to the broad representation of the diplomatic corps, especially the fact that the Western political elite is at the forefront.
Thus, the fact that diplomats at the level of the USA, France, Germany, and the European Union were part of a huge delegation of 150 people from 58 countries and 9 international organizations added a special mood to the visit, and their admission of the current situation and truths in the legitimate territories of Azerbaijan has strained the nerves of the Armenian society. This visit concretely documented to the world community and the public that Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan and put a legitimate final seal on it.
The presentation of Ganjasar and Khudavang, as well as other historical monuments remaining from Caucasian Albania, as Armenian heritage, and the propaganda and racist approach regarding the historical settlement of Armenians in the territory of Azerbaijan and the alleged non-existence of Azerbaijanis in the territory of modern Armenia were exposed.
At the same time, the guests are beginning to understand the essence of intolerance and racism of Armenia, which has destroyed the cultural heritage created over thousands of years by Western Azerbaijanis who lived in their ancestral lands for centuries.
By being living witnesses to the history and heritage of Caucasian Albania in Karabakh, the diplomats became completely convinced that the monuments there belong to the Azerbaijani state and people, and are protected by the state at the highest level and with responsibility. This means the failure of Armenia’s racist approach and denial policy towards the heritage of Caucasian Albania and other historical monuments.
The fake propaganda and myth that Armenians, who have been carrying out an act of appropriation regarding the historical-cultural-religious heritage and toponymy of Karabakh for many years, have been conducting in the West and on a global scale have been shattered. What caused deep shock in the Armenian society is precisely the fact that the diplomats rejected the 30-year lie during the visit, agreed with the real historical realities, and demonstrated solidarity with Azerbaijan.
Armenia, for its part, displayed its hypocritical face once again by exhibiting unacceptable rhetoric against the goodwill visit, objective views, and thoughts of the diplomatic corps.
Of course, this is interference in the sovereign territory and internal affairs of Azerbaijan, it is a gross intervention, and the Armenian society’s sharp criticism of foreign diplomats means crossing all ethical norms and international civilized rules.
A circumstance that does not cause surprise is that the Armenian authorities also support revanchist forces. The reaction of the opposition is known, but the behavior of some officials of Armenia, who are conducting the peace process with Azerbaijan and trying to get rid of “colonialism” thanks to the regional communications opened by Azerbaijan, is incomprehensible.
The confirmation of reports that the authorities are behind this harmful and malicious campaign reflects what kind of sincerity and character Yerevan possesses in the newly established neighborhood. These are also provocative activities aimed at deliberately striking the peace process.
What is happening shows that Armenia is not sincere either in the peace process or in the cooperation platform forming in the region. Official Yerevan, pursuing its petty interests, does not want to give up its habit of instilling a spirit of hatred against Azerbaijan.
In any case, despite the uproar in the Armenian society, this visit wrote a definitive reality into history:
– Azerbaijan is presenting the panorama of the situation in the region to the world accurately and without any interference by establishing proper communication with foreign diplomats;
– Our state is opening a transparent and comprehensive door for foreign observation, led by Western countries, so that the guests can witness the ongoing activities firsthand, and see on the spot the peaceful intention of our country, which has restored its sovereignty, its determination in building prosperity and welfare in the region, and the favorable environment it has created for international cooperation.
