On September 10, 2026, a mine explosion occurred in the territory of Papravand village of the liberated Aghdara district.
elchi reports that the Press Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) have released information regarding this incident.
Rustamzada Sarkhan Bakhtiyar oglu, born in 2005, a resident of Tartar district, was riding a horse in an uncleared area when the horse stepped on an anti-personnel mine. During the incident, Rustamzada Sarkhan sustained minor injuries.
The citizen was evacuated from the dangerous area by ANAMA employees.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Tartar District Prosecutor’s Office.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General’s Office once again call on citizens to follow safety rules, pay close attention to mine danger signs, not to touch suspicious objects, not to enter unfamiliar areas, and not to interfere with areas where fencing activities are being carried out.
