President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the Jewish community of Azerbaijan.

I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah, one of the significant holidays of the Jewish people, and convey my most sincere wishes.
Azerbaijan has historically been a place where different civilizations have converged, and exemplary social relations based on mutual respect and trust, friendship and brotherhood have been formed here among representatives of different peoples and faiths.
In modern Azerbaijan, democratic and legal conditions have been ensured for the fundamental human rights and freedoms of everyone, regardless of their language, religion, or ethnic background. In the environment of ethnic and religious tolerance that has prevailed in our society for centuries, the Jewish community, while preserving its national and moral values, language, and culture, actively participates in the socio-cultural life of our country, which is experiencing a great stage of development and progress, and makes its own unique contribution to the strengthening of civic solidarity.
