The Main State Traffic Police Department has appealed to road users.

It was stated that the serious road traffic accident on the Zardab–Aghjabadi highway, which resulted in the death of 5 people and injuries to 2 others due to a collision between a passenger car and a tractor, once again highlights the vital importance of strictly adhering to road safety requirements.
“The Main State Traffic Police Department brings to the attention of persons operating agricultural machinery, including tractors and towed vehicles, that traffic rules must be strictly observed, the condition of the equipment must be checked regularly, lighting devices and reflective identification means must be used correctly, and all safety measures must be ensured during movement.
At the same time, drivers of other vehicles should choose a speed appropriate to the road and traffic conditions, maintain a safe following distance, constantly monitor the road ahead, and avoid risky maneuvers. It should not be forgotten that a moment of inattention and a negligent attitude towards safety requirements can lead to serious, irreversible consequences. The Main State Traffic Police Department calls on all road users to strictly follow the rules, and to be attentive and responsible,” the appeal noted.
