In January-August 2026, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Azerbaijan amounted to 87 billion 709.5 million manats.
“Elchi” reports, citing the State Statistical Committee, that this is 1.2% more in real terms compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, value added in the oil and gas sector decreased by 0.8%, while it increased by 2.1% in the non-oil and gas sector.
In January-August, 26 billion 181.9 million manats of GDP were generated in the oil and gas sector, and 61 billion 527.6 million manats in the non-oil and gas sector.
