Türkiye supports the decision of 12 countries to impose sanctions against Israel

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has supported the steps taken by twelve countries, including Great Britain, France, and Canada, aimed at banning trade and business relations in illegal settlements in the West Bank.

“Elchi” reports, citing “TRT Haber”, that the MFA’s statement emphasized the intensification of Israel’s efforts aimed at eliminating the two-state solution.

It was highlighted that the settlement in the West Bank has reached a point that threatens the existence of Palestine:

“Providing a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian issue and establishing a just and lasting peace in the region has become a primary condition for responding appropriately to these activities of Israel. In this context, we expect all responsible members of the international community to adopt similar decisions.

Türkiye will continue to make efforts for the creation of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the 1967 borders, possessing geographical integrity.”
