Specialty selection for vacant places in secondary specialized education institutions based on general (9-year) secondary education has been announced from September 8 to September 10 at 23:59.
“Elchi” reports that the State Examination Center (SEC) has released information regarding this.
It is stated that applicants who have a total score of at least 50 in the entrance exam, at least 20 points in the Azerbaijani or Russian language subject, and at least 10 points in mathematics are allowed to participate in the specialty selection for vacant places in secondary specialized education institutions.
Applicants with a total score of at least 50 (no score restrictions on individual subjects) who have received a “pass” grade in the aptitude tests conducted by the relevant commission are allowed to participate in the competition for specialties requiring special aptitude.
Specialty selection for vacant places in secondary specialized education institutions based on general secondary education is conducted via the internet from September 8 to September 10, 2026, at 23:59. Applicants eligible to choose a specialty must select up to 12 specialty codes for state-funded or paid-basis programs at secondary specialized education institutions and fill out and confirm the “Applicant’s Electronic Specialty Selection Application” located at https://www.e-gov.az/az/services/read/3149/2.
The order of specialty codes is determined by the applicant. During the competition, this order is considered the legal basis, and the applicant is placed in the first specialty for which they qualify.
Only applicants who have received a “pass” grade in the aptitude tests conducted by the relevant commission can choose specialties requiring special aptitude. In addition to specialties requiring special aptitude, applicants can also choose other specialties.
The list of vacant places is presented in the special issue of the “Abituriyent” magazine.
