elchi reports that Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev said this while discussing the differences observed in reading literacy across regions during the presentation of the PISA 2025 results.
The minister stated that purposeful work should be carried out to improve the quality of education in the regions. He also linked this situation to the results observed in different regions during the teacher certification exams: “It is necessary to work fundamentally in these regions. We have also seen certain results regarding this issue in the certification exams. Large-scale work needs to be carried out with teachers in those regions.”
Emin Amrullayev emphasized the importance of paying special attention to improving educational indicators in regions such as Lankaran-Astara, Mil-Mugan, Salyan, and Masalli.
