The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has held its first job fair in the Kalbajar district.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry, Bashir Hajiyev, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kalbajar district, and Hasil Abbasov, Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency, also participated in the active employment event.
At the fair, more than 90 vacancies were presented to job seekers by 16 enterprises representing the public and private sectors, covering professions such as power engineer, senior engineer, head of service, shift electrician, welder, fuel truck driver, locksmith, confectioner, salesperson, cook, and others.
Participants of the event were briefed on the requirements for the job positions, and candidates suitable for the vacancies were registered. Citizens were also informed about the active employment programs of the State Employment Agency.
Within the framework of the active employment event, a meeting was also held with employers. During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the Agency’s activities, including active employment programs implemented in Karabakh and East Zangezur, and the employers’ questions were answered.
