Great Britain has delivered more than 25,000 of the 120,000 drones it promised to Ukraine this year.
“Elchi” reports, citing Interfax-Ukraine, that British Defense Secretary Wes Streeting stated this ahead of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in the “Ramstein” format.
“We are also making significant progress in fulfilling the commitments made by my predecessors to supply 120,000 drones to Ukraine this year. We have currently delivered more than 25,000, and thousands more are to be delivered in the near future,” the minister said.
In addition, Great Britain will continue to supply ammunition for large-caliber artillery to Ukraine. According to Streeting, thanks to the financial support of Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden, tens of thousands more rounds of ammunition will be delivered in the near future.
Germany, for its part, intends to strengthen military support for Ukraine, including through the supply of PAC-2 interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems. Berlin also plans to continue providing drones and long-range ammunition to Kyiv.
