A meeting was held at the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population with a delegation led by Mamadou Lamine Diante, Minister of Public Service, Labor and Social Dialogue Reform of the Republic of Senegal, who is on a visit to our country.

It was stated that the delegation first got acquainted with DOST Center No. 1 of the DOST Agency. Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev provided information about the DOST Agency and DOST Centers, which were established in accordance with the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018. It was emphasized that the DOST concept, which is an initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, allows for the provision of state social services from a “single window”, transparently, promptly, and in accordance with citizen satisfaction.
Presentations were made for the delegation regarding DOST services and our country’s digital achievements in the social sphere. At the bilateral meeting, Anar Aliyev emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Senegal are developing in a spirit of mutual respect and friendship, and that there are opportunities for expanding ties in the fields of labor and social protection. The delegation was informed about the reforms carried out in the social sphere in Azerbaijan. It was stated that the Labor Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is an important platform for developing cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection among member states of the Organization.
It was noted that the DOST model is highly valued at the international level. It was brought to attention that the Senegalese side is also interested in the DOST concept. It was stated that we are ready to share our experience with the Senegalese side in the fields of labor relations, the creation of DOST Centers, and the digitalization of services. Expressing his satisfaction with the sustainable development of bilateral relations, Mamadou Lamine Diante emphasized that they are interested in expanding cooperation between the two ministries in the process of reforms and conducting consistent exchanges of experience.
At the meeting, issues of future cooperation in the directions of labor and employment, development of social dialogue, digitalization of social services, conducting exchanges of experience in these areas, and creating a legal framework for cooperation between the two ministries were discussed.
