During August 2026, a total of 70 pharmacies were inspected by the Analytical Expertise Center of the Ministry of Health.
According to the information provided by the AEC to elchi, 48 of these inspections were carried out in pharmacies located in Baku, and 22 in pharmacies located in other cities and regions of the country.
It was reported that 51 of the inspections were planned, 16 were unplanned, and 3 were non-inspection checks.
As a result of the inspections, various violations were detected in 19 pharmacies, and relevant administrative protocols were drawn up regarding these cases under articles 210.1, 215.4, 221.1, 452.1, and 452.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
