As a result of the measures taken by the employees of the Air Transport Customs Office, diamond stones hidden from customs control were discovered.
“Elchi” reports this with reference to the State Customs Committee.
According to the information, two citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan arriving on the Sharjah-Baku flight were subjected to customs inspection.
During the customs inspection, packages containing diamond stones hidden from customs control were found on these individuals.
According to the expert’s conclusion, the total weight of the diamond stones is 654.90 carats.
The incident is under investigation.
