Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has visited the Gaza Strip.
elchi reports that the head of government’s office released information regarding this. He spoke with Israeli soldiers there and held an operational meeting with the participation of several generals, including Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir.
“We control 60% of the strip, and this figure will increase further as we destroy the terrorists who threaten us; we do this every day. Yesterday, we captured the head of Hamas’s internal security service. Undoubtedly, we will obtain some important information,” Netanyahu said.
He emphasized that Israeli troops do not intend to retreat from the so-called “yellow line” inside the enclave. “We are doing everything to achieve our goal: the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of Gaza. Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel. This goal has already been largely achieved, but there is still much work to be done, and we will do it,” the Prime Minister noted.
