An operative meeting of the Emergency Situations Commission under the Head of the Goranboy District Executive Power was held in connection with the incident that occurred in the territory of Nizami village of Goranboy district.
elchi reports citing Teleqraf that the meeting focused on ensuring public safety, the safe return of residents to their homes, coordinating the activities of relevant government agencies, and discussing urgent measures to be taken.
From the moment the incident occurred, all relevant government agencies were promptly dispatched to the scene, and the situation was brought under control. Furthermore, regular updates regarding all stages of the incident were provided to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, with operations conducted in close coordination with the relevant state bodies.
It was emphasized at the meeting that the safety of citizens is always the top priority, and all necessary measures have been taken in this regard. Following a full risk assessment and the opinions of the relevant authorities and the Ministry of Emergency Situations regarding safety, the gradual return of residents to their homes will be ensured starting from 18:30.
Heads of the relevant agencies were given specific instructions regarding the full guarantee of public safety, the prompt organization of the safe return of citizens to their residences, the continuation of control measures in the area, and the coordinated execution of all matters. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident.
