President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.
“Elchi” reports that the letter reads:
“Dear Sadyr Nurgojoyevich,
On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the brotherly Kyrgyz Republic, I extend my most sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to your entire people on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
Today, under your leadership, Kyrgyzstan has achieved significant success in strengthening statehood, socio-economic progress, and large-scale development, and has gained great prestige in the international arena. As a brotherly country, we rejoice in Kyrgyzstan’s successes as much as our own.
It is gratifying that the relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, which are connected by traditional ties of friendship and brotherhood, have developed year by year to reach the level of alliance today and have acquired a new essence. My recent state visit to your hospitable country demonstrated the determination of our countries for close partnership and a broad cooperation agenda, and laid the foundation for a new stage in the history of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations.
I am confident that the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations and alliance will continue to develop and strengthen on an upward trajectory through our joint efforts in accordance with the interests of our peoples.
On this festive day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your high state activities, and lasting peace and prosperity to the brotherly Kyrgyz Republic.”
