On August 31, a meeting was held at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan with a delegation led by Ying Yong, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of the People’s Republic of China.

At the meeting, Supreme Court Chairman Inam Karimov stated that friendly and mutually cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and China are successfully developing in various fields.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the reforms being implemented to improve the judicial-legal system in our country. It was noted that the application of modern information technologies in judicial activities is being expanded, consistent measures are being taken to increase the efficiency and accessibility of justice, and the legislative framework is being continuously improved in accordance with modern challenges. It was emphasized that there are broad opportunities for expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and China in the judicial-legal sphere, promoting the exchange of experience and information, as well as further strengthening ties between the relevant institutions of both countries.
Expressing his gratitude for the reception, Ying Yong, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of the People’s Republic of China, noted the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries. The reforms implemented in the development of the judicial-legal system in Azerbaijan were highly appreciated.
At the meeting, an exchange of views also took place on other issues of mutual interest in the judicial-legal sphere.
