The death toll from a boat carrying migrants that capsized off the coast of Tunisia last week has reached 14.
“Elchi” reports, citing “Reuters”, that Tunisian authorities have discovered the bodies of the last missing migrants.
According to the Tunisian Observatory for Human Rights, the boat mainly carried young people, including 7 members of one family, as well as a man and his pregnant wife.
Earlier, the coast guard reported that the bodies of 11 Tunisian migrants had been found. One person was rescued.
The Tunisian National Guard stated that the search and rescue operation has concluded and the bodies of the deceased have been handed over to their families.
