On August 26, First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, along with her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva, participated in the opening of kindergarten-nursery No. 352 in the Nasimi district of Baku.
“Elchi” reports that Anar Alakbarov, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, provided information about the work carried out at the kindergarten-nursery.
It was noted that the facility, which was put into operation as a 116-seat kindergarten, had functioned since 1972 as a specialized republican kindergarten-nursery for children with hearing impairments. Currently, it continues its operations as kindergarten-nursery No. 352.
With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, major renovation work was carried out in the building, and a new block was constructed.
In the new kindergarten-nursery, while maintaining a special group for children with hearing impairments, all conditions have been created for children to receive preschool education and upbringing. A two-story additional block with 36 places has been built here for children with hearing impairments.
The kindergarten-nursery features audiologist rooms, playrooms, bedrooms, sports, event, music, and dance halls, as well as medical, changing, and teachers’ rooms. The audiologist cabinets, classrooms, and playrooms are equipped with necessary facilities and furniture.
Outdoor playgrounds and sports fields have been set up for the children, and gazebos have been installed.
